Lithuanians will see two music grandees – Kenny G and Michael Bolton

On 30 June, residents of Lithuania will be provided a unique opportunity to see on Vilnius “Siemens“ Arena two laureates of prestigious ”Grammy“ prize – the most famous worldwidely saxophonist Kenny G and ballad virtuoso Michael Bolton. The performers come to Lithuania for the first time and will rejoice the listeners by recent and classic hits.

“It was a great success for us that two legend performers will have the same free day in their stressed schedules of concerts and they agreed to deliver a joint concert in Lithuania. Although Kenny G and Michael Bolton are familiar to each other and work together for a long time, they usually deliver their concerts individually. So, Lithuanian listeners are provided a unique opportunity to see on Vilnius “Siemens“ Arena simultaneously two “Grammy“ laureates “, – CEO of ”SEVEN live“ Juras Vėželis said.

During the concert, Kenny G will present melodies from his recent album “Heart and Soul“. The said album is identified already as a culmination of the creation of the performer; in the opinion of Kenny G, the recent album “Heart sand Soul“ was carefully formed  for a year and half and it excellently reflects his entity, his spirit and was created according to rhythms of R&B style.

Winner of “Grammy“ American Kenny G is one of the most popular performers: over 75 million of his albums have been sold worldwidely. The saxophonist holds the top line among those having gained the first place by their albums - total 14. He also holds the title of a performer whose works remained on the top for the longest time.

Within his almost 30-year music career, Kenny G issued 23 albums. The classic album “Breathless“ of the jazzman became the best sold album in history of instrumental music and his Christmas album “Miracles“ – the best sold Christmas album. In addition, he is an author of abundant gold and platinum albums and was awarded with  “Grammy” and 16 times nominated for it and other music awards of America. He worked with many music stars, such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and so on.

The achievements of author and performer of songs Michael Bolton (by the way, he was awarded by the title of the most sexy 50-yer man by “People” magazine) are no less than the ones of Kenny G that will deliver the concert in Vilnius together with him. Within his career, Michael Bolton issued 17 albums and has sold over 53 million records, was awarded with two  “Grammy“, was a laureate of American awards for 6 times and has the own star in Hollywood Glory Avenue.

Michael Bolton concerted with many music legends, such as Luciano Pavarotti, Ray Charles, Placido Domingo, Seal; he created songs together with Bob Dylan and wrote hits for Barbara Streisend, Cher, KISS Kanye West, Mark Anthony, Kenny G and many others. His voice vibrating from the very bottom of the soul and the penetrating texts of the songs, his original style and unfading charm are known worldwidely. A majority knows the melodies of his classic songs, such as  “How I am supposed to live without you“, “Said I loved you... but I lied“, “Don‘t tell me it‘s over“, “This is the way“ and so on.

Tickets for the concert of two grandees shall be distributed by “Tiketa“ from 24 March. The preliminary selling for members of “Tiketa“ club starts on 22 March. Because a parterre with seats is arranged for the concert, it is planned to sell about 8 thousand tickets only.

The concert of Kenny G and Michael Bolton in Vilnius is organized by the largest national group of companies involved in entertainment business “SEVEN Entertainment“ Lithuanian leaders in arenas management, event organization and ticket distribution.
