Elton John's concert in Vilnius will be warmed up by sensationally famous cellists

Elton John's concert on November 4th in Vilnius Siemens Arena will be warmed up by sensationally famous cellist duo from Croatia, 2CELLOS, who will perform a few songs with Great Britain's pride E. John and his band. Besides, the 2CELLOS guys will undoubtedly be the most popular and famous supporting band throughout entire history of foreign stars' concerts in Lithuania.

The crowd of Elton John's fans gathered to the concert will not only hear one of the best pop performers in the world, but also a duo of cellists who attracted massive attention around the world. Modernly sounding classical music will be the first gift that Elton gives to the audience in the evening of November 4th“, – says the president of SEVEN Live Juras Vėželis.

The 2CELLOS guys  Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser attracted massive attention and popularity this January, when they performed Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal with cellos and uploaded this version onto YouTube website. Over merely a few weeks their video became a real sensation and beat all viewing records.

Just a month after their public debut on YouTube the guys received Elton John's invitation to join him in his world tour, and not only become a supporting band but also perform a few songs with him.

Their debut album released this summer, where most well-known world's pop and rock songs can be heard performed with cellos, outran works by celebrities like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Red Hot Chili Peppers in a few countries' album tops.

2CELLOS guys are professional cellists who took their cellos in their hands at early childhood. L. Šulić graduated from the prestigious London Royal Academy of Music, where, by the way, Elton John has studied himself. His colleague S. Hauser developed his talent in Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. The guys have played on the most prestigious stages in the world, won numerous honorable awards. Stepjan has already played twice for Great Britain's prince Charles.

Elton John's performance in Vilnius is organized by company SEVEN Live, belonging to the biggest in the country entertainment business company group SEVEN Entertainment, uniting leading Lithuanian companies in various entertainment fields which deal with arena management, event organization and ticket distribution.
